Climate Conversations is our peer support group for living in the climate crisis. There’s a lot to get our heads around and the scale and urgency of the crisis can be overwhelming. We aim to find ways to come to terms with what’s happening to our world, support each other and figure out what we can do to cope and make changes.
A little while ago, in one of our conversations, we talked about structural change and how our actions could affect social structures (and vice versa). At the end of that conversation, someone said it was interesting, but they still weren’t any wiser about how to change society. That will be the starting point for this conversation: what needs to change to transform our society into a sustainable one? What types of actions focus on changing social structures and systems rather than individual behaviour?
